International Trade & Multilateral Engagement With World Trade Organization #WTO

The All India Sustainable Development Council (AISDC), in collaboration with the Global Sustainable Council (GSC), United Kingdom, actively engages with global multilateral institutions to advance sustainable trade, climate-aligned economic frameworks, and inclusive global development.

AISDC holds special accreditations for participation in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference – Cameroon 2026, contributing to high-level dialogue on sustainable trade policy, green industrial transformation, ESG-linked global finance, and climate-responsive economic governance.

In September 2025, AISDC participated and presented at the WTO Public Forum in Geneva, represented by Mr. Vigil Kanethara, Dr. Navneet Kaur, and the AISDC international policy team. The delegation contributed insights on integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into global trade systems, climate finance mechanisms, and responsible supply chain governance.

Through continued engagement with WTO platforms, AISDC and GSc are committed to strengthening multilateral cooperation, promoting equitable trade growth, and supporting sustainable development pathways across emerging and developing economies.
